This is an aleatoric aethereal electronic noise generator.
The original sound comes out by plugging a mic or aux, and the signal is processed by an effects processor which is pretty amazing for a toy. All pop-ish vocal effects are pretty there; Autotunes, Chorus, Harmonics, Vibrato, etc.
My bents allow all the mic feedbacks to be self generated and controlled,
so it becomes a constantly evolving mysterious drone.
The audio input is also radically effected by the feedback noise and you can blend between the feedback and the manipulated audio signal.
With not input, it works as an aethereal noise generator which constantly changes and evolves.

This is a hacked vintage musical game from the ‘80s, originally made by Radioshack/Tandy company.
One of the ‘games’ is a powerful sequencer where you can load your own sequences of any length.
In another mode it can work as a keyboard (and arpeggiator if a sequencer CV is inserted).
It works as a stand alone device but its capabilities are fully taken advantage of once connected to a modular synthesizer.
The unit has been preserved and refurbished before the modification.

A great guitar pedal already, this Behringer has been pitch-hacked in order to extract a new universe of sounds outside this stomp box. There is also a control voltage input installed, which allows modular synthesizer control of the knob. A tilt button is also installed for the moments that the pedals is getting too wild.
I offer a hacking service for that, which means you can post me your pedal to hack and I send it back with the mods installed.
This instrument is the result of years of research while intensively hacking the Stylophone into extreme levels of manipulation, towards the production of an analogue synthesizer.
The evolution of this research has concluded into this tiny beast which can be used in many different ways. Besides a very powerful noisy and melodic standalone synth keyboard and drone generator, the new generation is fully compatible to the modular synthesizers’ standards of controls.
The Stamouphone in capable of interacting with a eurorack modular synthesizer system as an extra synth voice, via accurate CV, VCF and gate voltage inputs.
Furthermore, It is equipped with its own very special 2-way filter.

This is a great handheld instrument, and the modified version brings all its modular synth qualities of this little monster to the surface. It can operate as a standalone synth or it can be controlled by a modular synth (CV input, VCF input, Envelope input, Delay Time input)

Tasos Stamou has been hacking electronics for music creation since 2007.
He started practicing the art of circuit bending initially to cover the needs of adding innovative and exciting new electronic gear to his setup and a new palette of sounds to his performances and recordings.
