Tasos Stamou has been hacking electronics for music creation since 2007.

He started practicing the art of circuit bending initially to cover the needs of adding innovative and exciting new electronic gear to his setup and a new palette of sounds to his performances and recordings. Being completely unaware of the principles of electronic engineering in the beginning, he has developed a unique style based on making simple but effective modifications and extracting the live-performance qualities out of recycled devices.

Nowadays his designs have evolved into some collections of instruments, run in small production (Stylophone, Casio SK-1, Zoom MRT-3) or one-offs (various electronic sound toys, sound sculptures, video-bent devices).
He also creates special pieces commissioned by other musicians, producers and organizations.
